Fish Pic's +1
peterpeter:
I'm new to the forum so thought I'd post up with some of my pic's from the last few years. I take a lot of pic's but most of them come out bad but here are a few of the betters ones.
As much as I love my fish my first love is my dog Brandy. I love training dogs, its another hobby outside of fishkeeping.
cat:
great looking fish! loving those peacock bass, and the ripsaw too!
what do you have at the moment?
p.s. really cute pup!!
Lamzang:
Lovely pics. Love the chunky clown loaches, they look like a cheeky bunch.
And your dog looks beautiful, too.
Great to have you on this site.
peterpeter:
Ah thank you both.
I've decided to move away from keeping bigger species as the food and filtration is too costly. Also as I'm on a water meter having to do loads of water changes is hurting my pocket. So until work picks up will have to have some cutbacks.
Currently keep a few species of Geophagus, some smaller flagtails (semaprochilodus taeniurus) and a posh plec I think its a sunshine (L14) or a scobi (no idea what L that is). I'm not looking to keep anything that will grow bigger then 12".
Looking to completely move away from 'monster' fish and try and create a relaxing planted setup. Will see how it goes though,as if the right pair of rays come up I know I couldn't say no lol
I still have all my pond fish (the stock in there never changes as its too much drama to catch anything in there). So various koi (only one that would be described as Grade A show specimen its a doitsu platinum with perfect symmetry) the rest are just grow outs that I've had since they were juves and an assortment of stuff I've rehomed over the last 10-15 years, fantails, ghost koi, carp etc. The star of the show is Sidney the sturgeon though, he's around 3ft long (although most of him is tail!) and he's very active and always at the surface and very tame.
LondonDragon:
Nice collection of monsters Peter lovely dog also.
Do you actually do dog training sessions? I would be interested.
