ooo they look great! I'd never heard of the Cichlasoma pearsei and had to look them up. stunners!

yeh they are rare in the hobby. and they are regarded as the friendly giants of the cichlid world and arent aggressive. gets to around15".
was visiting wildwoods up in enfield a few months ago and saw them and bought them without hesitation. quite cheap too. got mine for £15 each and they were wild caught. took about a week to get them acclamitised to new water. but, tame now.

selling 2 Argentea Vieja (aka white cichlid) soon. bought 4 few months ago to find a pair and think ive got a pair bonding now. quick sale before all hell breaks loose in my tank.
