Juwel 180 fresh look

On sunday I decided to change the gravel and the overall look of my tank.

I went to Living Waters at 10am and bought 8 bags of Unipac black fine gravel.

I exchanged the bigger gravel as this would be going into the Koi tank later next month.

Here are some photos I have taken on facebook for now.

Comments are welcome.

The idea is that the left side of the tank will eventually be planted as well and I will attach some more Vallis and crypts, as well as some Anubias as they are so hard wearing

Just finding the ideal piece of wood to go with the scenary. But please do comment on it.

That is a fine looking tank already... Good idea to take your time with choosing the right piece of wood you like (instead of spending money on a piece you buy simply because it is the only one you like at the time).  No doubt it'll look great

If you have any ideas of plants I can try out etc :(

I guess this means a low level of something....

Don't give up yet. My plants are producing dark/reddish/brownish coloured leaves, which is the colour of the new leaves. \once the leaves are getting older they will become more green. Also, it is natural for old leaves to die off, so I wouldn't worry just yet.
