LivingWaters:
Hi all,
I thought it about time to share some piks of the Juwel vision 260, we have had running here for a few years now.
I'm afraid the piks will posted be randomly with no particular order of date.
Hope you enjoy all the same..  :)

Anyways to get it rolling heres how it was back in September 2009....

more to follow shortly.. many thanks for looking  :)

LivingWaters:
couple more from same month..

frothhelmet:
Epic! What was that tall trailing plant?

LivingWaters:
Hi Gerard, stem was Rotala sp mini type?

LivingWaters:
our thumbs today take us a few month on from the previous.
The hardscape remains the same, the mosses are still in there. Yet there's no glosso carpet and no rotala mini  ???
Why, well to be honest "I dont know"
I took a weeks holiday away from the shop.. returned to a small patch of the glosso carpet in the far right hand side melting away to nothing.. within the week I'd lost the lot  :(
Then the rotala mini followed the same trait within days.. shame as I was enjoying growing this plant. With no plans to replace the carpet or adding any more stem's the 260 turned into a moss only home.  The existing moss species grew fast and it was not uncommon that one or two species required a weekly trimming.
Personally I love aquatic mosses, andso I was happy to let this tank run this way..
Several unidentified species, were also given a home here.

here's how it looked by the end of that year..
 before trim..

 After trim...

  :)
